2019
Hailey-Hailey disease (familial benign pemphigus) is a
genodermatosis due to the mutation in the ATP2C1 gene,
characterized by the flaccid vesicles that mainly affect the
area of folds and in the chronic evolution as macerated
plaques with multiple painful fissures; present a great impact
on the quality of life of the patient and there is no definitive
treatment of the disease. We report the case of a male patient
with this disease successfully treated with the application of
platelet-rich plasma.
