Thin-layer coulometry: Application to the measurement of the iron oxide stoichiometry

Abstract An electrolyte-impregnated, graphite-felt electrode allows a solid to participate in a thinlayer electrochemical process. The stoichiometric differences among iron oxides are investigated by successive coulometric determinations on 10 −1 mg samples.
