Method and system for dynamically displaying file transmission progress

The invention provides a method and a system for dynamically displaying a file transmission progress. The method comprises the following steps: establishing connection with a data source of a target file to be transmitted; obtaining a background picture of the target file and the size of the background picture; transmitting the target file, and displaying the background picture with a first greyscale; obtaining a transmission progress percentage of the target file, and calculating an area value of the background picture corresponding to the progress percentage according to the size of the background picture and the progress percentage; and displaying the area, in a percentage corresponding to the calculated area value, of the background picture from one end of the background picture to the other end opposite to the end with a second greyscale. Two parts of the background picture are compared and displayed through two greyscales with huge vision disparities, the area ratio of the two parts of the background picture is gradually changed according to the file transmission progress so as to dynamically display the file transmission progress, and therefore, a showing form of the file transmission progress is rich.
