Study of "MI Electric Scooter Pro" Capabilities

2020
This article aims to experimentally study the capabilities of Mi Electric Scooter Pro. In order to do this experiments have been performed to determine the energy required to accelerate to maximum speed in the three operating modes, as well as the energy returned by regenerative brake. The power required to maintain maximum speed for each of the operating modes at 0 degree inclination is also checked. The experiments were conducted with 65 kg payload. Estimated energy consumption is calculated with this payload at 0 degrees inclination in the three modes for different distances to determine which of the modes is the most effective in terms of energy savings. The maximum speed under these conditions for each mode is shown graphically. The acceleration of starting and stopping is also calculated. Charts for acceleration time to maximum speed and braking time only with regenerative brake are provided. Experiments to determine the impact on energy consumption and speed, depending of payload are also published.
