Η σημασία των δικαιϊκών και δεοντολογικών κανόνων στη διαχείρηση της πληροφορίας στο σύγχρονο περιβάλλον των υπηρεσιών πληροφόρησης

The management of knowledge and generally the information's management is not comprehended broken away from the obligation of respect of individual rights and specially the rights of protection of private life and the protection of personal data. The increasing use of automated treatment of personal data in the modern environment of libraries and information's services includes dangers of violation of these rights. It constitutes ethical and mainly legal obligation of information organisms to deter these dangers. In the frame of present presentation becomes a short report in the differences between law and ethical rules, in the relation between this rules and in the question of choice of more suitable frame for the regulation and protection of individual rights in the particular conditions. Is examined a intermediary possibility of regulation, the said “syrrythmisi”. It is searched how much the codes of deontology can incorporate the rules of personal data's protection rights and function as preventive metre of rights' offence and as vehicle of information's freedom evaluation and the individuals' information self-determination. Finally, are pointed out the dangers from the treatment of personal data in the information services and are proposed the syntax of deontology code. This proposal of regulating frame takes into consideration the Greek legislation, the needs and the particularities of libraries as well as the advisable technologies of privacy's protection.
