PCR Detection and Prevention and Control of Pathogen Mixed Infection of Wild Boar

2010
The intensive farming of wild boar is one of the new industries developed in the aquaculture industry now, it reported cases of communicable diseases (such as classic swine fever, porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome) occurred less, because the wild boar has strong resistance. Wild pigs had high morbidity, high mortality cases at a wild boar farm of Shouyang in August 2009, pathogens were detected by PCR technology, the result was the mixed infection of Mycoplasmal hyopneumoniae, porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome and classic swine fever of wild pigs. It proved that the wild boar has susceptibility to the above-mentioned diseases, and we advanced some control measures. It has a certain reference value for breeding of wild boar to establish a rational immunization programs.
