How Valuable is Farm Data to Farmers? Estimating Damages from Inaccessible Data

Farm data valuation has been an emergent topic in agricultural economics. Previous work focused on proving damages from farm data misappropriation, although no analyses were discovered regarding destroyed or data inaccessible to the farmer. Based on first hand experiences, estimation of expectation, incidental, and consequential damages of inaccessible farm data are described including supporting numerical analyses.
