Research on Corpus-based English Writing Connectives

This study aims to reveal the features of using connectives among English learners in China.By using qualitative and quantitative research methods,this article makes comparative study on SEC,NWC and CLEC,finding out that the use of connectives has a higher frequency but turns out to be monotonous among Chinese English learners.It also gives some suggestions on the improvement of writing skills for future teaching.
