Research and Design a Network Streaming Media Player

Internet television(otherwise known as Internet TV or Online TV) is television service distributed via the Internet,of ten programs performed on them are WMV,ASF and other streaming media formats.Internet television are now become an inte gral part of our daily life,its technology and development is popular and full of attention,and that to study it,is meaningful.This paper is a introduction of a Network streaming player which based on MFC and Windows Media Format Develop ment Kit.The player can have a friendly user interface,can play MMS real-time streaming media on line,and can also set the time to record streaming video,while,many network television don’t have the record function.The player has a playlist and is small so it holds little system resource.This paper describes the development of today's Internet streaming media background,and then introduces WMP controls,WMF SDK,some basic concepts and implementation methods,and finally describes the design of the program.
