Dynamic Characteristics of Filament Melt-Spinning

We calculate the forces acting on a fiber during melt-spinning as a function of the spinning distance for different take-up speeds. We obtain an estimate of the quantitative value of the forces and the relative contribution of each force to the spinning dynamics. We show that we can use a mathematical model for description and analysis of melt-spinning dynamics.
