The benefits of public relations efforts are pointed out, and the experience of Camarillo, California in this area is described. The city approved a traffic management plan that included a public education element. It used the local newspaper as a primary line to the community. It established a community awareness program with a logo: a variation on the Southern California Section's Traffic Inormation Program Series and called it, "A Tip from Camarillo." Details of this successful program are described.
