Light-emitting device using fluorophore

2017
A light-emitting device comprises a solid light source and a wavelength conversion element. The solid light source emits first light within the ranges of 480-550 nm and 430-470 nm. The wavelength conversion element includes a red fluorophore that includes Ce as an emission center. The red fluorophore is excited by at least a portion of the green light and emits second light. The spectrum of the second light has a peak wavelength in the range of 600-700 nm.
