The high-field magnetization curve of amorphous ferromagnetic alloys
1979
Abstract Investigations of the temperature and field dependence of high-field magnetization of amorphous Fe 40 Ni 40 B 20 -alloys were used for an analysis of the spinwave spectrum and microstructural inhomogeneities. In the lower field range μ 0 H 1 H or 1 H 2 whereas at higher fields the so-called paraeffect was found to be dominant. For the spinwave stiffness constant a value of D sp = 191 meV A 2 was determined. The deviation from saturation in the lower field range was attributed to the magnetoelastic coupling between the spontaneous magnetization and elastic stress centres due to quasi-dislocation dipoles.
