Development and Perspective of Friction and Wear Behavior of Cemented Carbides Tool Material

The dominate factors that influence the friction and wear performance of cemented carbides tool materials are analyzed,as well as the way they work.Thus the wear process and charicteristics of cemented carbides are discussed.Moreover,the state-of-the-art both at home and abroad is summarized and the disadvantage of this field is analyzed.New research directions on friction and wear properties of hard metal concerning metal cutting are pointed out.
