Partial Inverse Spinel Structure of Manganese‐Doped Gahnite: XRD and EPR Spectroscopy Studies.

Mn-doped ZnAl2O4 with 0, 4.3, 7.6, and 11.7 at.% Mn (substituted for Zn) is synthesized by a sol—gel process starting with a mixture of Al(O-sBu)3, Zn(NO3)2, Mn(NO3)2 dissolved in sBuOH (calcination in air, 800 °C, 2 h).
