Investigation on Contactless Power Transmission of Electromagnetic-Mechanical Synchronous Resonance

It is discussed the method of EM energy transmission and conversion based on resonantly coupled power transfer technology to find a solution for wireless power transmission, switching and controlling between it and mechanical energy. It brings convenience to electricity consumption of micro-robots which are difficult for towing cables. The coupled model of electric, magnetic and mechanical (force) is established and the overall system transfer function is derived according to the properties of giant magnetostrictive materials(GMM). The prototype of the system is produced and experimental results show that the frequency of excitation voltage from oscilloscope is accord with that of rod's vibration from upper computer. Thus theory is proved in this way while the EM-mechanical power converted synchronously when working at 10.07 kHz 30cm spaced.
