Reinterpretation of unusual double-core event obtained in Kolar gold mine field (KGF)

The unusual event with double cores reported by KGF in 1979 cannot be, as suggested by the authors, produced by either neutrinos or muons, but is rather likely to be produced by a heavy and neutral particle C" from the cosmic rays.
