Modification method of ferric oxide corrosion-resistant pigment

2014
The present invention provides a method of anticorrosive pigments modified iron oxide. (1) an epoxy resin or a polyamide resin modifier iron oxide in a ball mill jar was added beads were uniformly mixed in a ball mill treatment performed at a temperature of 60 ~ 200 ℃; (2) the slurry after ball milling with xylene - butanol mixture was washed repeatedly filtration; (3) the product was filtered off with suction modified iron oxide after the drying. In order to solve since the iron oxide pigment in an epoxy resin dispersion and poor compatibility, so that the iron oxide used in the epoxy coating is limited by the problem, the present invention provides a method for the iron oxide surface graft organic resin . The modified method uses a high temperature iron oxide chemical mechanical force for surface modification, simplicity, low cost, suitable for mass production.
