Зрелищность в современной культуре китайского города

The purpose of this article is to define the role of spectacles in contemporary urban culture in China. The current stage of the development of the Chinese state and society is extremely interesting due to the unprecedented changes that occurred in China in the XX century. Today Chinese cities grow and develop rapidly. Urbanization contributes to destruction of traditional cultural values, while man breaks away "from the ground," losing the sense of collectivity: the city generates an individual. The appeal to spectacular forms in China helps to control the society and support the collective principle of man.
