Preparation of Polyacrylonitrile hollow carbon spheres and its application

2021
Polyacrylonitrile (PAN) hollow carbon spheres were successfully prepared by heating treatment and microencapsulation techniques. Effect of carbonized temperature, heat and cool rate on the micro-structure and performance of PAN carbon spheres were studied. The structures of the carbon spheres were characterized by Raman spectroscopy, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and the white-light interference microscopy. We also studied the pressure-resistant, gas-storage and conductive property of prepared PAN carbon spheres. It was found that the carbonized spheres at 800 ℃ were superior to others in gas performance.
