Cassettes promoterless for expressing alphavirus structural proteins

An RNA molecule isolated comprising: a) a recognition sequence replication 5 'alphavirus, wherein at least an initiation codon has been removed from the replication recognition sequence 5'; b) a nucleotide sequence encoding an alphavirus structural protein; c) a recognition sequence 3 'replication alphavirus, provided that the RNA molecule does not contain a promoter that directs transcription of the nucleotide sequence of (b), and wherein the recognition sequences replication 5 'and 3' of (a) and (c) direct direct replication entire RNA molecule in the presence of alphavirus nonstructural proteins.
