Influence of Wumei Pills on Motilin, Gastri and Endothelin in DGP Patients Infected by Helicobacter Pylori

2013
Objective To investigate the influence of wumei pills on motilin, gastri and endothelin in DGP patients infected by Helicobacter pylori. Methods Ninety patients with positive Hp were selected and randomly divided into three groups: wumei pill group, erythromycin group, mosapride group. The patients were treated with corresponding drugs for 30 days, the three groups were taken pre-and post-treatment for measuring symptoms, motilin (MTL), gastrin (GAS), and endothelin (ET) levels. Results The clinical effect in wumei pill group was 90.00%, significantly higher than 70.00% in erythromycin group, 73.33% in mosapride group after 30 days of treatment (P 0.05). The GAS, MTL, ET levels dropped in three groups after treatment. The GAS, ET levels in wumei pill group were significantly lower than those in the other two groups after treatment (P 0.05). Conclusions Wumei pills can reduce gastrin and endothelin levels significantly in Hp positive patients with diabetic gastroparesis, which have a better clinical effect on patients with diabetic gastroparesis.
