Method and device for sharing streaming media resources

The invention discloses a method and a device for sharing streaming media resources, and belongs to the field of network communication. The method comprises the following steps of: transmitting a request message to a streaming media server so that the streaming media server adds a request node into a session corresponding to resources to be requested, wherein the request message carries an identifier of the resources to be requested, an identifier of the request node and bottom-layer topology information of the request node; receiving a service node set which is returned by the streaming media server and provides the resources to be requested for the request node, wherein the service node set is found in the session by the streaming media server according to the bottom-layer topology information of the request node; and acquiring the resources to be requested according to the received service node set. The device comprises a transmission module, a receiving module and an acquisition module. By the method and the device, when the request node is continually increased or a node in a network moves, the phenomenon of heavy network load can be avoided, and search efficiency of the resources and user experiences can be improved.
