Tumor mulleriano mixto maligno de endometrio con componente rabdomiosarcoma

Summary We report two cases of malignant mixed mullerian tumour of the uterus with a rhabdomyosarcomatous heterologous component. These tumours, better known as carcinosarcomas, feature malignant epithelium and malignant stroma. The stromal components have been divided into homologous and heterologous types. Immunohistochemical studies based on positive antibody staining of the tumour samples, are very useful for diagnosis.
