Lacrimal gland region disorders

The echographic patterns of different disorders which can originate in the lacrimal gland region are reported. The differential diagnoses among cystic, inflammatory and tumoural lesions will be discussed. Particular attention will be payed to the A- and B-scan characteristic of the adenoid cystic carcinoma.
