Plasma-like gas purifying apparatus

A plasma-like emission control device that a pair of a discharge electrode (7; 21; 31) and a ground electrode (8; 22; 32), which are arranged in an exhaust path (2) of the internal device (1), and a discharge means (9) includes, for applying a voltage between the electrodes, so that a corona discharge field is generated, wherein the exhaust path through the (2) is flowing exhaust gas purified by the corona discharge field; wherein the apparatus further comprises a dielectric (5) provided in the exhaust path (2) between the discharge electrode (7) and is disposed of the ground electrode (8); and wherein the dielectric (5) has a plurality of independent cavities (6) which are arranged transversely along the direction through the electrodes to allow that the exhaust gas flows therethrough.
