Особенности преподавания математики иностранным слушателям, обучающимся на неродном языке

The article is concerned with mathematical training of foreign students of the preparatory department. Teachers of mathematics and other disciplines, dealing with foreign students of the preparatory department in Russian, constantly improve the learning process by searching for new forms and methods of the educational process and independent work of students. The paper shows that the proposed form of cooperation between the teacher and foreign students of the preparatory department aims at developing students’ skills such as the ability to highlight the main ideas, write a brief summary with the help of mathematical symbols, listen and understand the lecture material in Russian. These skills are necessary for future international students for successful studying in the Russian universities in groups, together with Russian students.
