Conceptual Gaps on Global Governance between China and the EU

The concept of global governance has emerged as a central challenge to European policymakers. Intellectual and political engagement with global governance first arose with the Cold War’s end and the concurrent emergence of globalization; however, contemporary debates on global governance have taken on a different quality in terms of both content and political relevance.
