The invention provides a method for displaying information in a high-definition manner through a large screen. The method comprises the following steps: configuring throwing information to be displayed on a large screen display device, wherein the throwing information contains a URL address of the throwing information and a to-be-loaded resolution ratio which is the maximal resolution ratio of the large screen display device; starting a display program and acquiring the corresponding throwing information and the resolution ratio by requesting a certain URL address; loading the resolution ratio onto the acquired throwing information and directly pushing the throwing information loaded with the resolution ratio to the large screen display device for displaying in full screen. The embodiment of the invention also provides a system for displaying the information in the high-definition manner through the large screen. According to the embodiment of the invention, the full-screen high-definition display for the large screen throwing information is realized, and on the basis of B/S structure, the independent development for data information, content expression, and the like, is avoided, so that the extra workload is saved.
