A Review on Soil Microorganisms in Wetland Ecosystem

As an indispensable part in wetland ecosystem,microorganisms play an important role in energy flow and material transformation.An overview on the present situation of wetland soil microbial research at home and abroad was noticed,including the research of wetland soil microbial community structure,metabolic activity and its ecological function.The prospect of researching on wetland soil microbial communities and function as well as the diversity of soil microbial in natural wetlands was raised in the paper,and the methods of diversity of soil microbial in wetland should be used to evaluate the health and quality of the wetlands soil were proposed.If the modern molecular biology methods were combined in the study of wetland soil microbial communities,a better understanding of microbial diversity characteristics can be obtained.
