The invention discloses a device and method for multistage cyclic absorption and desulfurization of active ore pulp. The device mainly comprises a primary absorption tower, a secondary absorption tower, an active ore pulp storage tank and an absorbing liquid storage tank, utilizes active ore pulp containing a certain amount of MgO, CaO, Al2O3, Fe2O3 and other alkaline oxides as a desulfurization agent to replace a traditional desulfurization agent, preliminarily absorbs sulfur dioxide in low-concentration smelting offgas through the active ore pulp in the primary absorption tower, then absorbs sulfur dioxide in the offgas through the active ore pulp in the secondary absorption tower, achieves two-stage cyclic absorption of the low-concentration smelting offgas, can ensure the high desulfurization effect, meanwhile enables the active ore pulp to be dynamically balanced between the primary absorption tower and the secondary absorption tower through a first liquid level linkage valve, a second liquid level linkage valve and a pH value linkage valve, has high automation degree, fully utilizes different pH gradients of active ore pulp, reduces the operation cost of a system and does not produce secondary pollution in the desulfurization process.
