As consumers, most of us have embraced digital technologies almost without conscious effort. Online searching, shopping, and collaboration are now second nature; media streaming and social media interactions have become significant parts of our everyday agendas; and Wi-Fi connection and power charging are jockeying for position in Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. And yet, despite the clear imperative for businesses to tap into the enterprise variants of digital revolution benefits, there is a mix of reluctance, confusion, and disappointment within many businesses as they struggle to know what they need to do to remain relevant in the new digital era.
