CargoCap: wirtschaftliche Transportalternative im Ballungsraum

CargoCap is alternative no. 5 for freight transport by road in congested cities according to the result of a Ruhr University of Bochum research project. This innovative concept consists of carrying freight in individually-propelled and computer-directed modules along subterranean tunnels - with a diameter of only 1.60 meters - in an efficient and timely manner. This report presents the above system and offers proof of its economic viability.
