‘Be clear about sex’, strategy of a sexual health lifestyle campaign Since 2010 the youth campaign ‘Be clear about sex’ is running. The campaign aims at the prevention of sexually transgressing behaviour among young people (12-18 years old). The campaign consists of offline interventions such as posters and online interventions at social networks and serious gaming, transmedia storytelling and a website for parents. STI AIDS Netherlands and Rutgers WPF developed the campaign on behalf of the Organisation for Health Research and Development (ZonMw) and the Ministries of Health and Education. This article describes the development and strategy of the campaign.
