Automatic Weighing System for Sequential Monitoring of Forage Drying

ABSTRACT AN automatic weighing system was designed and fabricated to monitor weight changes of forage samples during drying. The system had a multiple samples monitoring capability and was proportioned to fit inside a walk-in environment chamber. Actual weight measurements were accomplished by using a bending type load cell connected to an Apple He microcomputer. Data recording and storage were initiated by a remote trigger to the game I/O port of the microcomputer and through software commands.
