Прогнозирование и обеспечение точности токарной обработки ступенчатых валов

The paper considers the problems of evaluating and forecasting processing errors caused by the deformation of elements of a technological cutting system (TCS) and the influence of external forces on elastic deformation of TCS elements when turning stepped shafts. The mathematical model has been developed, which reveals and assesses the impact of the deformation of a workpiece, of a cutting tool, and that of a headstock and a tailstock of the machine, on the accuracy and form of processed surfaces of a stepped shaft.
