Roller bearing holder

PURPOSE: To securely and uniformly separate rollers through an edge of a track wheel in operation by providing a web and a lateral ring part with protrusions directed to an outer ring of a roller bearing to hold the web in an operating condition. CONSTITUTION: In a holder 5 to hold rollers of a roller bearing in which parted parts are radially developed by a web 10, a protrusion 12 directed to an outer ring 3 of the roller bearing to bold the web 10 in an operating condition is provided on the web 10 and a lateral ring part 9 in a range of a lateral ring 7 cut by a slit. The lateral ring part 9 is disposed to be elastically developed in a radial direction by the web 10 for enlarging a partial circle. The protrusion 12 is provided in a range of a track 13 of the outer ring 3. In an operating condition of the holder 5, a small gap 15 is generated between the protrusion 12 and the track 13. The protrusion 12 prohibits radially outward deflection of the web 10 during operation. COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO
