Feeding intolerance and elevated transaminases in a preterm infant ### Prenatal History: ### Birth History: A female neonate was delivered by cesarean section at 28 4/7 weeks’ gestation because of persistent bleeding and known placental previa. Her birthweight was 1,380 g, and Apgar scores were 4 and 8 at 1 and 5 minutes, respectively. The infant had initial respiratory distress that required endotracheal intubation for surfactant delivery and subsequent respiratory support with nasal continuous positive airway pressure. After birth, umbilical venous (UVC) and arterial catheters (UAC) were placed and appropriate positioning confirmed radiographically.
