스크램제트 엔진의 격리부(Isolator) 내부 유동 특성의 해석적 모델링 기법연구

Isolator is the buffer zone of the scramjet engine between hypersonic inlet and the supersonic combustor. The geometry of the isolator effects the performance, weight, internal drag of the scramjet engine. Internal flow of the isolator is effected by the flow characteristic behind the intake and the pressure of the combustor. The isolator model has been favorably compared with CFD results and experimental data. The model was applied to various isolator geometry with several inlet flow conditions. A new 1-D modeling concept to predict internal flow structures in scramjet isolator has been introduced.
