함인재(含忍齋) 정국채(鄭國采)의 생애와 우암학(尤庵學) 수용

Jeong Guk-chae, born at Gyeongsangu-do(慶尙右道), Jeong was a Noronleaned( 老論) Confucian scholar whose main activity was done out of office in the early 19th Century. In his case, not only unique was the fact that he attributed his academic and ideological belonging to Noron group at the home of Nammyeong school(南冥學派), but it seemed extraordinary that he explored the academic world encompassing Ch'eng-Chu Neo-Confucianism(程朱學), agriculture (農學) and Yehak (禮學, study on manners from Confucian tradition). This discussion traced and summarized his life and at the same time explained academic influence of his two teachers Seongdam(性潭) Song Hwan-gi(宋煥箕) and Gyeongho(鏡湖) Lee Ui-jo(李宜朝) who contributed to the formation of his academic world. As a result, the study found he could experience in-depth learning in overall Ch'eng-Chu Neo-Confucianism as a student of Song Hwan-gi and transformed himself as the successor of Theory of U-am established by Song Si-yeol (宋時烈). Meanwhile, following his meeting with author of GaryeJeunghae(家禮增 解). Lee Ui-jo, he started to walked the path as a Yehak scholar(禮學者). Jeong Guk-chae, becoming the successor of Theory of U-am, read Songjadaejoen (宋子大全) and chronology in detail(年譜) and was so passionate as to recommend his friends and family to read the books of Song Si-yeol necessarily. Jeong Guk-chae, who highly admired and praised Jujadaejeon(朱子大全), also expressed his keen interest in the issue of plaque of Nogang Lecture Hall(老江書院).
