Numerical Simulation for Structures of Cable Tunnels beneath Urban Bridges

With cable tunnel underneath mountain interchange bridge project from Jiangbeicheng Substation to Wulidian Substation of Chongqing as background,this paper simulates excavation process of cable tunnels by means of finite element software Midas-GTS,analyzes safety and feasibility of excavation of cable tunnels to operation of municipal bridge project,and proposes the problems those should be noticed in construction of cable tunnels. Numerical simulation in the paper exhibits perfect reference value and guiding significance for similar projects in the future.
