[Solution] A memory system 1 includes non-volatile memory that includes a plurality of circuit blocks utilizing different voltages, a power shutdown switching unit that switches whether or not the supply of a corresponding voltage to each of the plurality of circuit blocks in the non-volatile memory is shut down, and a power shutdown control unit that controls the switching operation of the power shutdown switching unit on the basis of at least one of the operation frequency of the plurality of circuit blocks, the circuit scale of the plurality of circuit blocks, the standby power of the plurality of circuit blocks, and the circuit scale of the power shutdown switching unit.
