Novel MAC frame retransmission scheme for high-throughput optical-link-based wide area network

We propose an optimized GBN ARQ as retransmission scheme for new MAC technology to improve TCP throughput. High performance of TCP throughput of 98 Gbps with BER ≤10 −12 has been achieved with simulation.
