In Vitro Nitrogenase Activity of Rhizobium Associated With Carob Excised Roots

Stimulation of nitrogenase activity in rhizobia by carob (Ceratonia siliqua L.) callus cultures has been obtained (3). This paper shows that both seedlings and roots “in vitro” were also able to induce nitrogenase activity in two different rhizobia.
