光ファイバープローブによる気泡計測に関する研究 : 第1報,プローブが気泡界面運動に与える影響

In order to improve the qualty of an optical fiber prove method, the influences of the probe on bubble dynamics are quantitatively discussed in the present paper. Distortion process of pure-air bubble interface (equivalent diameter is 3.59mm), the distortion rate, the interfacial velocity and change of bubble orientation caused by contacting a probe (the diameter is 250μm) are experimentally investigated. As a result, the following was obtained. When the bubble contacts the probe that is perpendicular to direction of the bubble motion, distortion and oscillation of the bubble interface are followed by change of the bubble orientation. The oscillation of the bubble interface is amplified by 35% comparing with a free bubble and its frequency is the same as that of a free bubble. When the bubble contacts the probe that is parallel to direction of the bubble motion, change of bubble orientation is followed by oscillation of the bubble interface. The oscillation of the bubble interface is suppressed by 15% comparing with a free bubble.
