A flat battery housing capable of insertion into and removal from a power-storage device, wherein a handle is provided on the near-side end thereof in the direction of insertion, and a recess for supporting the bottom-end section thereof is provided on at least the bottom-end-section side of the bottom-end and top-end sections when vertically inserting.
