Anatomophysiology of ejaculation
1996
OBJECTIVES: The present study reviews the anatomophysiological and neurological aspects of ejaculation and ejaculatory disorders. METHODS/RESULTS: The different phases of the ejaculatory process and the male genitalia are analyzed. CONCLUSIONS: Ejaculation is a complex psychobiological process whose innermost mechanisms have yet to be elucidated. Further studies are warranted to obtain further insight into ejaculatory disorders whose impact on the male population cannot be overemphasized.
