Usos Tradicionales de Clones de Musáceas: Un Estudio Exploratorio en los Estados Miranda y Aragua, Venezuela

The study of use gives man plants has facilitated the use of them in various activities. In the case of Musa, there are rural and urban populations who use them in different ways. Its main use is in power, however, are also useful in the area of health, papermaking and textile industry. This exploratory study evaluated the most frequent uses of musaceas colnes most used in the Miranda and Aragua states, through the application of a semi-structured survey. The results indicated that nutritional level, in Aragua state 67% of consumption clone Pineo gigante and 53% in clone Cambur manzano is recorded; in Miranda state, 70% of consumption clone Pineo gigante and 27% of clone Cambur manzano reported. For therapeutic purposes in Aragua state, 37% in clone Pineo gigante and 40% in clone Cambur Apple is reported. As for the results obtained in Miranda state, clone giant Pineo records 30% and Cambur manzano 27% to treat various health conditions.
