Optimal low-thrust control for GEO satellite reorbiting based on gauss pseudo-spectral method

For the low-thrust problem of the GEO satellites reorbiting during the end of orbiting life, a planning method for optimizing propellant based on pseudo-spectral method is studied. First, the modified orbital elements are chosen as state variables, and the reorbiting problem of the GEO satellites is modeled as the optimal control problem. Furthermore, the optimal control problem is transformed into a non-linear parameter optimization problem based on the pseudo-spectral method. Finally, simulation results demonstrate the validity and effectiveness of the proposed method.
