교차점 특징 기반 서식 처리 알고리즘

In this paper, we present a new form processing algorithm based on junction features in form documents. We find the end-points of line-segments in an input image and adopt a point-based registration technique in order to estimate the geometric transformation between the input and a pre-registered form. Since junctions are well localized and point-based registration algorithms are robust to outliers, we can develop robust form registration and identification algorithms with a single reference image. Experimental results on a variety of form documents have also shown that our method yields promising results without a burdensome training process.
